He/she is primarily responsible for general maintenance within McAlister Institute facilities. This is a hands-on position. Must be experienced and skilled in commercial maintenance, repair, and remodeling. Some of the job duties may include framing, drywall, texture and finish, paint, flooring repairs, tile work, basic HVAC troubleshooting, window repair and replacement, moving furniture as required, some basic plumbing and electric work, other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must have a minimum of 3 years of maintenance/construction experience. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Must be free of probation or parole for at least one year. Position will require driving, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record. Must comply with all agency and contract requirements related to trainings, public health, certifications, reporting, etc. Need to have paperwork skills to maintain up-to-date documentation, computer skills including Microsoft Office Software with high use of corporate Email system, ability to work as a team.
