Corey, Canapary & Galanis (CC&G) is a thriving San Francisco market research firm. While in business nearly 100 years, CC&G provides innovative solutions to our clients using modern technology and methods. We are seeking candidates to work as a temporary market research interviewer for a specific project lasting through late May. Your primary duties will be conducting market research surveys in the field on public transportation. This work informs many planning and public policy initiatives throughout the Bay Area. (Some travel time is compensated. You do NOT need your own vehicle.) To be considered for this role, candidates MUST: • Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide legitimate documentation of same, as all work at CC&G involves heavy public contact. (Job offers are contingent on this requirement.) • Adhere to ALL COVID-related protocols, which may be stricter than those for the general public and may vary due to changing circumstances. • Work in the field (in public). • Be available for and regularly work a schedule with non-standard hours and slightly varying start times -- which consists of EITHER early mornings (start time before 7:30 am) or afternoon/evening shift (start time between 2-4 pm). Monday-Friday only. There is a strong need for morning people. Start time will vary day to day but stay within the AM or PM range. • Closely follow detailed instructions (both written and oral). • Easily and regularly perform work which requires standing, walking, and/or moving up to 4-6 hours at a time. • Be willing and ready to learn on the job (and master new skills); • Communicate proactively (in a timely manner) – both in speaking and writing. • Be the person you would like to work with! This includes operating in an honest and professional manner, as well as working well with people from all backgrounds (both coworkers and the general public) and treating everyone respectfully. IT’S A PLUS IF you have experience working independently, in market research, and/or working in other situations with high in-person public contact. ALSO a plus if you possess solid language skills and can interview in Spanish, Tagalog, or Chinese. If you are interested, please send us an email with ALL of the following information.
