DENVER, CO — Littleton is the best city for residents who have to commute to Denver, according to a new report by Commercial Cafe. In addition to commute times, researchers analyzed average home prices, crime rates and school ratings.
Researchers looked at cities between 5 and 50 miles from Denver. Littleton, with an overall score of 81.5 points, tied with Westminster and Arvada for second-shortest commute time — a 20-minute drive into Denver on a Monday morning.
Englewood came in second, garnering 75.3 points. The city scored points for its 16-minute commute, which was the shortest drive, tied with Wheat Ridge. Englewood also scored high marks for its housing affordability.
Louisville rounded up the top 10 with 66.2 points, ranking highest for quality of educational institutions and community safety, but losing points for the other two indicators.
