We are based in Spearfish, South Dakota. We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver and Equipment Operator to join our team to work on commercial and residential routes within 90 miles of Spearfish. We offer immediate growth and training potential for workers dedicated to their craft. Candidates should have driving experience and be willing to daily travel in a 2 hour radius of Spearfish. Job Description/Duties - Equipment maintenance and repair procedures - Driving a commercial garbage truck to residential and commercial locations and collect garbage either by manually collecting the garbage or using an automated rear load garbage-disposal truck. - Transporting and disposing of garbage in a safe, effective, and environmentally friendly manner, at a city or state-approved dump site. - Interacting with customers when necessary, and providing them a positive experience as a representative of Victory, Inc. - Basic knowledge of heavy equipment used in the garbage industry - Ability to properly work/maintain equipment on daily routes - Ability to maintain a consistent schedule and work longer hours and when necessary - Effective communication, time management and leadership skills - Provide daily maintenance of equipment Requirements/Responsibilities Must be at least 18 years of age Basic communication skills Provide daily maintenance of equipment Required to follow Safety Protocols Benefits Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, Fridays off in the winter months - September - March Victory Sanitation is an Equal Opportunity Employer, women, minorities, veterans and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply; all applicants are required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
