Maven Properties NW is seeking a hard-working individual to fill a full-time Maintenance Technician position. This position is a key member to our customer service team and shall exercise great customer service skills. This position is responsible for performing maintenance and other duties to our apartment community. RESPONSIBLITIES: • Interact with residents in a professional courteous manner. • Complete work orders including: light plumbing, carpentry, painting, repairs of showers, sinks, doors/cabinets and walls. • Complete some grounds work such as: grounds pick-up, blowing entryways/parking lot, snow removal and spreading of ice melt. • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and testing of items such as: smoke/carbon monoxide detectors and replacements of filters. • Document work orders accurately with work that has been completed. • Communicate daily with supervisor regarding scheduling, vendors, and supplies to ensure all objects are met. • Maintain company tools and equipment. • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned. REQUIRMENTS: • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. • Be prepared to respond to a variety of maintenance needs, often with little advanced notice and a selective degree of urgency. • Ability to use tools and/or power machinery properly and safely. • Must posses own tools. • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude. • Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain personal auto insurance. PHSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl depending on specific needs of the day. • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. • Ability to move up-stairs with heavy equipment, appliances, supplies, tools, which may up to 100 pounds.
