Description
This little lady would make the sweetest family dog ever. She weighs about 40-50 pounds and is about one year old. I rescued her from the OKC animal shelter. I wish I could keep her but I have a lot of traveling for work this year and I think she would be a better fit in a different home. I have a big bag of food to go with her. I have been working with her daily to train her and she has really come such a long way. She is house trained and so snuggly, I just adore her! She plays well with my small dog, loves to play with toys, and really has the best, sweetest temperament. She would do well in a house with a yard as she loves to romp around, but I wouldn't necessarily say she is "high energy".
I would like a small rehoming fee of $50 since I have had issues with the type of people who can't pay a fee.
If I had to guess I would say she's a lab/pit mix. She has no aggression in her at all, although my vet did say she lunged at a dog on the other side of a fence, so she may have fence aggression, which makes sense because I believe she was in the shelter for about a month before I picked her up. I spend about 20-30 min a day training her and I think it is imperative that this continues, she has learned to sit, lay down, get in her crate, stay, and shake. We are close to mastering roll over as well! It has taken me a long time to decide to rehome her because of how sweet she is and so good with my other dog, but I just don't think this size of dog is a good lifestyle fit for me, unfortunately, and I really believe she will thrive much more in the right environment.
She is chipped, spayed, and up to date on all her shots. She is good for the next three months on flea and tick preventative. And did I mention she is the sweetest? :) I named her Migas.
