This little girl is Penny. Penny is a 27 month old chihuahua-corgi mix that my family took from a family to foster to keep her from going to the PSPCA due to the family not taking the time to train her from her bad behaviors. We took her in to try to train her until she can be rehomed. At this point, we have done what we can to train her stubborn brain! We have 2 other dogs plus 3 cats; too much for our 5 person household. She is much better at going potty outside, though she still has accidents in the house if you are not consistent. Her food aggression with other dogs has gotten much better although I do recommend a home with only one other dog her size (she loves to play with my one pug, but the other one doesn’t like to play). She is good with cats; she likes to wrestle with our kitten. She is not fond of men, but will get used to one in the house. She does love and will attach herself to you once she warms up to you. She needs to go to someone who will be patient and gentle and willing to continue with training. She loves my 13 year old daughter, so a teenaged girl in the household would be a bonus. We will be selective with who gets her as my daughter really loves her. She is not fixed, but I am willing to fund ½ the cost of a spay if you schedule through Pet Pantry. A rehoming fee applies; we can discuss to an agreed upon amount as I want her to go to a great home. Please PM me with your interest with a description of your household including pets.
