I took Bonnie in when her previous owner was moving into a situation where dogs weren't welcome. After living with her and bonding with her for almost 4 months I'm coming to find that she would do better in a situation where there was an available yard, or more than one person to tend to her. It's causing considerable guilt to not be available to her as much as she needs. She is super affectionate with me and anyone that she's come to recognize, but she's wary of strangers and exhibits some signs of aggression towards them and other dogs, though she warms up to people quickly when introduced in a familiar environment. I don't know her whole history. She's 4 years old. I was told and it seems to be the case that she is fine with cats. She's hung out with my friend's cat without incident. She has all her shots. She's not yet spayed though I have an appointment on the 20th of April and so won't be re-homing her until after that date. I would want to make sure that any home she would be going to would be nurturing and responsible to her needs, and so would want to have a thorough discussion and/or zoom tour with her next owner.
