Our company is in need of a maintenance technician for industrial manufacturing equipment, and a building of over 200,000 sq ft. Candidates should have a knowledge of industrial maintenance, building maintenance, and vehicle maintenance. This would include - plumbing, electrical, air systems, HVAC, and wheeled equipment. RESPONSIBILITIES include-- conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.. perform preventative maintenance.. handling basic repairs and maintenance.. repair equipment or structures as needed. REQUIREMENTS.. proven maintenance experience.. high school diploma or GED.. skilled in the use of hand and power tools.. ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to to remove and replace defective parts.. ability to read repair manuals as needed.. ability to use common tools such as hand tools, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches.. experience with electronic testing devices.. strong organizational and follow up skills.. ability to work individually or with others. this is a full time position M-F, 6am to 2:30pm. Health, dental and vision insurance is provided. our facility is located in south Kansas City. must have reliable, dependable transportation to get to work, and be punctual. Must have a valid drivers license.
