Full Job Description Job description Summary: Responsible for maintaining the physical condition and appearance of the site by performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Pick up trash on grounds 2. Gather and empty trash cans in laundry and office 3. Maintain parking lot and sidewalks, free of debris 4. Clean vacants as needed 5. Cleaned windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees 6. Reliable and can assist with minor maintenance work orders 7. Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications 8. Clean laundry room 9. Maintain all hallways, with vacuuming, dusting, light bulbs 10. Maintain elevators with wiping down daily, mopping floors, detail cleaning 11. Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors 12. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. 13. Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created. 14. Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using vehicle 15. Mow and trim lawns and shrubbery, using mowers and hand and power trimmers, and power trimmers, and clear debris from grounds 16. Remove snow from sidewalls using snow blowers and or snow shovels and spread ice melt correctly 17. Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties 18. Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events 19. Has excellent interpersonal skills and great verbal communication skills to interact well with other employees, residents and service providers. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
