Description
Number 1. We want to have fun. And fun means enjoying a good jam in our practice space to gigging at a local venue.
Number 2. We know we'll have a whole lot more fun playing at a gig than in our practice space. Hopefully, you feel the same way.
Number 3. If you are talented, have a sense of humor, a love of music and no drug or alcohol issues, or nasty personal issues, then you'll want to reach out to us. We are looking for a lead guitarist...mostly. If you're good at rhythm and can sing, that's good. Keys, too.
We have a plan. Our goal is to have four sets done in about 2 months. We are going to do Southern rock (which, ironically, appeases the country music crowd), funky blues and soul with a smattering of classic rock tossed in for taste. There's a lot of great music to consider in those categories and a lot of ways to get creative. And our plan is to be really creative.
We have a band name, a website and a marketing plan.
We -- the drummer and the bassist -- are pros with good equipment. You don't need to be Jimi Hendrix. What you need to be is talented enough to play decent leads. Hopefully, you can do vocals, too.
Please. Don't contact us if you're not serious and ready to start playing. Please don't be in three other bands. It's really hard to schedule around four or five people. Adding more bands to the mix makes it worse.
Also, please have a sense of humor, and be able to put ego aside for the sake of the band.
