The Mid/Night Manager will be responsible for all operations during the mid/night shift, focusing on operations to include overseeing accurate and timely loading and unloading off all deliveries. Strives to make the night warehouse operations a profitable, functional, and safe environment. OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE: Supervise a team and oversee night operations in the Warehouse Ensure the warehouse operates safely at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals Train and manage mid/night shift warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals Review manning and space requirements, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures Schedule and oversee warehouse team to meet customer/company demands and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency Meet regularly with warehouse managers/ leads to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to work in a fast- paced environment Have schedule flexibility Must be able to operate a forklift Must not have lifting restrictions Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities Ability to work with all levels of company staff Hands-on commitment to getting the job done Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Must consent to a criminal background check and random drug screenings We offer a Monday – Friday schedule, weekly pay, competitive wages, paid holidays, paid time off (PTO), 401k, health, vision, dental, and life insurance.
