We are hiring! K.S. Heagy, Inc. is a general contractor in Lemoyne, Pa, and we are seeking motivated, detail-oriented individuals with an eye for quality, for the position of Carpenter. Job Qualifications: Ideal candidate will be an experienced carpenter, who is a reliable, self-starter, with a can-do attitude and takes pride in their work. They should work well with others and is familiar with both residential and commercial methods of construction. They should be knowledgeable regarding on-site safety requirements, building codes, and exhibit basic blueprint reading skills. Hands-on experience with power tools and the ability to proficiently read a tape measure are essential. Applicant should have their own basic hand tools, be in good physical condition, being able to repeatedly lift, pull and push up to 50lbs, be able to work on scaffolding, as well as have a current driver’s license and be willing to submit to a background check and drug test upon request. Training available for the right person! Job Duties: Residential - - Demo - Light framing - Door and window replacement - Flooring - Cabinetry - Finish trim carpentry (doors, windows, baseboard, and crown mouldings) - Light painting (mostly touch up) - Siding Commercial - - Hollow metal doors, door frames, and hardware - Bathroom accessories - Window and door replacement - Finish trim carpentry (doors, windows, baseboard, and crown mouldings) Job Locations/Schedule: - Projects generally will be located within a 1-hour drive from Harrisburg, Pa. - 8-hour days (7am-3:30pm, with occasional OT) Employment Type: - Full time - Summer only - Apprenticeship - Internships - 1099 contractors are welcome!
