Description: This person needs to be mechanically inclined and comfortable with working outdoors. They will be responsible for basic inspection, maintenance and fieldwork at a landfill site in Griffin, GA. Will be doing field inspection/work with crew on landfill site. Will be on site at a landfill watching project work and assisting as needed. Will need to be able to walk up and down a landfill site and work outside in the elements. Inspecting and performing preventative maintenance on various pipe systems. A typical day looks like: walking the site, inspection, cleaning pumps, running lines, and light maintenance This person is also expected to respond to emergency on-call work Skills: landfill, gas well, methane, trenching Additional Skills & Qualifications: Reliable / On time & dependable! MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Previous work experience outside in elements Ability to pass an MVR (motor vehicle report) Previous experience working hands-on: maintenance, repair, installation
