Our daughter and her two small children are in desperate need of someone to adopt / foster / re-home their two dogs... either in a permanent home... or for a year or two until their circumstances allow this little family to care for them again. Heartbroken to say we are needing to re-home our sweet dogs 😭 We are going through some transitions, and in a short time our living situation will be changing, leaving us with nowhere to keep our dogs for possibly as long as 2 years. Since we never expected to be in this position, we are unprepared and don't really know how to go about the process of finding them a good home away from us. Would anyone be interested in fostering, in adding a couple of sweet, furry girls to your family, or maybe just have recommendations for me? Madeline (Maddie) and Penelope (Penny) are twin sisters, from the same litter. They are a black lab/border collie mix. We rescued them at 2 months old, and they will turn 10 on October 14, 2022. They LOVE kids, do NOT like to be separated (they literally have to share a kennel at the boarder), and have always been outside dogs (although I think as they are getting older they would be more open to some inside time as well). They haven't been bad about barking or chewing. They are very protective of our family, but they're easy to win over. Friendly, eager to please, just wanting all the love and attention. They do not perform normal tricks like fetching 😂, but they love to play and are very obedient. The dogs are up to date on all shots and treatments. They have had regularly scheduled veterinary appointments throughout their lives. They've just been the best family dogs. They deserve a really good family to care for them.
