Campground Grounds Keeper We have an immediate full time opening for a grounds keeper at our campground. We are a clothing optional LGBTQ resort with cabins, pool, tenting and RV sites. Primarily job requirements are overall grounds maintenance. This is a full time position. Hourly rate between $13.00 and $14.00 hour. Benefits include free lunch on days worked, work shirts, use of the facility when not working. Applicants must have a valid drivers license, be able to pass a background check and drug test (THC allowed). Specific Duties Include but Are Not Limited To: 1) This position requires you to meet regularly with the Facility Manager and Supervisor, on specific projects details. 2) Maintain all planting beds. 3) Responsible for the removal of leaves from the grounds, building gutters and roofs. 4) Perform the preparation and application of herbicides, insecticides to grounds in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations. 5) Maintain all grounds keeping equipment as well as maintenance records. 6) Assist in other tasks as assigned by the facility supervisor or manager. 7) Work a variety of hours to accomplish the required tasks. Basic Requirements Include: -Able to lift 50 lbs. or more. -Maintain a neat and orderly work space. -Assist other employees when asked. -Properly store and maintain all tools. -Give accurate information concerning the location of the facilities of the campgrounds. Job Qualifications -Ability to work with others, be well groomed and present a good public image. Ability to work with a diverse public and to provide quality customer service. -Ability to communicate well with others, both verbally and written. Must possess strong conflict resolution skills. -Possess ability to multi-task, work independently, trouble shoot and prioritize. -Ability to work outdoors in a variety of work conditions. -Safe working habits at all times and strict adherence to the Sawmill Campground Safety Policies. -Ability to lift heavy objects with weights up to and in excess of 50 lbs. -Good manual and physical dexterity and good physical fitness. -Be punctual, honest, trustworthy and possess good judgment -Must possess a valid driver's license and meet the Motor Vehicle Record qualifications as outlined in the Fleet Safety Program.
