PISCATAWAY, NJ — Big news: A Piscataway liquor store sold a lottery ticket in the past week that — incredibly — won the $190 million Powerball jackpot. The winning ticket was sold at Buy-Rite Liquor at 1353 Stelton Road in Piscataway. The ticket matched the numbers drawn in the Wednesday, April 8 drawing. That Buy-Rite will receive a $30,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket. As of Thursday, a winner has not been publicly identified, or even come forward to the New Jersey Lottery. "Congratulations to the winner of this multi-million-dollar jackpot! We encourage the winner tosign the back of the ticket, make a copy of both sides and put it in a safe place. We recommendcontacting a financial advisor and an attorney before reaching out to Lottery officials at 1-800-222-0996 to arrange to file a claim for this jackpot prize," New Jersey Lottery Director James Carey said. The winning numbers for the Wednesday, April 8 drawing were: 02, 37, 39, 48 and 54. The Red Power Ball number was 05. The Multiplier number was 03. The Powerball jackpot reset to $20,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday, April 11 at 10:59 pm.
