HIGHLAND PARK, NJ — Slowly but surely, things are starting to return to normal in New Jersey!
The walk-up Highland Park farmers' market will return this Friday, June 3 and organizers say they are "transitioning back into our more 'normal' walk-up market."
Highland Park is unique, because the Red Bank Galleria farmers' market, which is quite popular in that area, said they will be drive-through only all summer long, with no walking allowed. The decision was not received well.
The Highland Park farmers' market said there will be "lots of safety and social-distancing measures in place, including required mask-wearing and no touching of items." Shoppers are still encouraged to order items online beforehand.
You must ask the vendor for whatever you need.
But most importantly, you can no longer drive through the market; you must park and walk into the market.
The Highland Park farmers' market will be open from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Friday.
