Looking for a mechanic who has experience working on older cars. I have a 1973 AMC AMX Javelin with a 360 V8 4 Barrel automatic transmission which I believe is a Chrysler TorqueFlite. It runs but needs some work. Need the following done and I will supply parts. Give me an estimate $ for below work and your experience. - Change Transmission fluid and check trans lines and automatic floor shifter. Has a problem going into reverse sometimes. No grinding. - Replace rotors and brake pads. - Check wiring. Dash lights not working but gauges work - May have you change spark plugs and wires.
