NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ —Comedian Jay Leno will take the stage at State Theatre New Jersey in New Brunswick on Thursday, March 12 at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $49-$175.
He will be doing a stand-up comedy routine. Now that "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" is off the air, Leno does stand-up comedy shows, voiceovers and is a corporate speaker. He also wrote a bestselling children's book, "If Roast Beef Could Fly."
Leno's late-night television show ran for 22 seasons, for which he was honored with an Emmy for "Outstanding Comedy, Variety or Music Series."
"The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" also took home the trophy for "Favorite Late Night Show" in the 2000 TV Guide Awards determined by voting viewers, and he was installed in the Television Academy's Broadcast Hall of Fame in 2014. He was also invited to have his papers installed in the Library of Congress.
