Join Girl Rising as we explore the deep links between girls' education and climate change. Education is her right - and our future. A special event featuring Girl Rising CEO Christina Lowery and Tia Kennedy, one of Girl Rising’s Future Rising Fellows. Through the Future Rising Fellowship, Girl Rising supports Tia and other young leaders who are addressing climate justice and gender equity through innovative projects in their communities. Join us to explore the deep interlinkages between educating girls and addressing climate change; and learn about young women around the globe who are remaking the world. And to set the stage, our event kicks off with a special tour of Milk and Honey, the JCC’s sustainable farm.
