This has shifted our globe in how we approach education and our careers. This panel will allow seniors who’ve been dealing with it all in real-time to share their perspectives on making plans for the future across a few different pathways (enrollment, enlistment, and employment). The facilitator will also provide insight on current school and community discussions to better prepare students for this new normal. Participants will: 1) Gain a deeper understanding of how seniors are approaching postsecondary plans; 2) Identify how the pandemic has affected or altered career interests and pathways; 3) Reflect on how the community can best support students in their career exploration and postsecondary plans SPEAKERS: Youth Panel: Seniors from Tell City High School FACILITATOR: Brittany Collins, Program Officer, College and Career Initiative, Indiana Youth Institute ORGANIZER: Lisa Noble, Director of School Counseling, Tell City Jr-Sr High School ***No Cost - Lunch Provided**** LOCATION: Tell City Jr/Sr High School - Library 900 12th St Tell City, IN 47586 ADDITIONAL INFO: You are invited to bring business cards or program/service information to share as well as arrive early and stay after for networking.
