We invite you to Derby for a day of food, fun, art, entertainment, kids activities and more! Mark your calendar for Sunday, April 24 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the 5th Annual Spring Into Art event at Madison Avenue Central Park, 512 E. Madison Ave. The free, family-friendly event will feature art for sale, live music and entertainment, kid’s art activities, face painting, balloon artist, the Kansas Grown Farmers Market, food trucks and beer & wine tasting. New this year is the Derby Chalk Garden. Attendees of all ages can create their own drawings on the sidewalks at the park. This event will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. on the north end of the park near the open shelter. If you are an artist and are interested in having a booth, a few spots are still available.
