Free pick up for girls ages 8-18 with Angel City's Dani Weatherholt! Football For Her is a safe and inclusive space for girls to come and at minimum play pick-up soccer 8-18 from 7-9PM at Lab Five in Pacoima. We will incorprate interactive, informative, or inspiring sessions with professional players or resources needed by sport. Each week we will post the link to register and inform you if we will be including a special guest or not. You have to sign up prior to coming on Friday in order to participate! SPECIAL GUEST: Dani Weatherholt Club: ⁃ California native, played 10 years on the SoCal Blues. ⁃ 6 years on the “B” team. Last 4 on the “A” team. ⁃ Odp state and regional team College: ⁃ Santa Clara University - studied education and environmental science. ⁃ 4 year starter, all conference and academic honors Pro: ⁃ Drafted 1st in the 4th round to Orlando Pride in 2016 ⁃ Played at Orlando for 4 years ⁃ Played abroad in Melbourne Austrailia where they won the W-league title ⁃ Traded to OL Reign where she played the 2020-2021 season. ⁃ 1st overall pick in the expansion draft to Angel City FC US National team: ⁃ member of U16, U17, U20 and U23 camps representing the US youth national team. Off the field: ⁃ Soccer Without Borders advocate and ambassador: empowering and providing kids with the opportunity to play soccer. ⁃ Voice in Sport Mentor passionate about instilling belief and encouraging young girls to chase their dreams through sport.
