The 2022 Resilient Bayview Planning Workshop will capture lessons learned from the pandemic as we craft a safer future for our community Join BOS President Shamann Walton for the 2022 Resilient Bayview Strategic Planning Workshop 4.14 @ 12 Noon Dear Resilient Bayview Partner, It’s been an incredible two years since the entire City went into lock down to stop the spread of COVID 19. In true Bayview fashion, the community came together across all sectors to protect our most vulnerable neighbors and institutions from the pandemic’s health and economic impacts. The Resilient Bayview Partner Network activated immediately and partnered with the City to get information and resources into our community. As we now enter the “new” normal, we still face a myriad of threats (i.e. heatwaves, poor air quality, earthquakes) to our community’s health and well-being. Thanks to funding from the City of San Francisco, The State of California and The Walter & Elise Haas Fund, we have access to resources that will advance the readiness of our essential Bayview CBOs. With that, in partnership with BOS President Shamann Walton, DEM and DPH, Resilient Bayview will host its first community resilience planning workshop in three years on Thursday, April 14th from 12 Noon to 3pm at the Bayview Y. The Agenda: 1. 12 Noon to 12:30pm – Lunch 2. 12:30 to 12:45 – Opening Remarks – BOS President Walton & Resilient Bayview Leadership 3. 12:45 to 1:30 – COVID 19 Pandemic: Lessons Learned 4. 1:30 to 2:00 – Review of Resilient Bayview’s Resilience Action Plan 5. 2:00 to 2:45 – Updating / Setting 2022 Resilience Goals and Objectives 6. 2:45 to 3pm – Meeting Outputs Summarization & Closing Remarks Once again, thank you for all of your amazing work over the last few years.
