Seeking Experienced Guitar Player for 80s/90s/00s Alternative Rock Cover Band

We are West Seven, a four-piece Alt Rock cover band established in 2017, playing a range of alternative rock from bands including Pearl Jam, RHCP, Toadies, Live, STP, U2, Tom Petty, Foo Fighters and many more. We are seeking a guitar player to join our group, as our longstanding guitar player has decided to focus on personal matters and depart from the band. Our group consists of a singer, bass, drums and a single guitar player (aka YOU). It would be a huge bonus if you can bring some singing capabilities to add some breadth and versatility to our group. This is not your typical “looking for a bandmember” post. It is important that we find a bandmate that fits in with our group in all aspects, from our music goals/capabilities to grabbing a beer and catching up at the bar when we meet up for practice. All of us have our day jobs / families that we tend to and meeting up as a band should not feel like more work. That’s not to say that we don’t put in the necessary effort to learn and keep up with the music. Our ages range from mid 30s to 50s and we are an easy-going group of guys – no room for big egos. Only respect, professionalism and lighthearted fun is welcome, here. Our target schedule for playing live gigs is about once per month and we practice roughly once a week, typically on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday after work (5:30-8:30). I have included some pictures of the studio we rehearse at, which I built in my garage – fully insulated, acoustically treated and temperature controlled, which you can see in the pics. The practice space is located in Westchase with convenient access. All of our equipment is professional grade and top-notch, including a digital mixer, wireless in-ear monitors, high-end Yamaha PA with Subs, acoustic and electric drums (depending on what’s best for the venue), etc. – we don’t mess around. I will also include a link to a couple of YouTube video of our live studio sessions so that you may have an idea of our capabilities.
