We are a full-service shop specializing in truck and trailer, motor coach, transit, and emergency vehicles as well as perform contract work for fleet vehicles, so knowledge of larger and commercial units is essential for this position. We are looking for an experienced Heavy Frame Technician who can diagnose and repair a multitude of commercial equipment issues. We operate one of the finest and most efficient specialized repair shops in the city, and we require excellence of our devoted staff. Each Frame Technician must have the experience necessary to provide our customers with optimum service.
Technician Responsibilities
Work with Estimators and Shop Foreman to properly diagnose issues prior to starting repairs
Conduct vehicle inspections (frame related) and report all findings to the Shop Foreman
Service all necessary components
Produce accurate notes documenting the job
Provide timely requests when ordering parts
Technician Requirements:
• Proven work experience working in the heavy-duty industry (1+ years experience)
• Attention to detail-accurate measurements
• Good communication skills
• Must have basic tools necessary for the job
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $40,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
