Learn the techniques and psychology around getting great photographs of people.
Whether you're completely new to photography or simply need some refreshers on the basics, "Making the Portrait" is an introductory class focused on the techniques and psychology behind getting great photographs of people.
You'll gain the skills and mindset needed to create impactful portraits beyond the everyday snapshots, as well as lighting techniques to make your work truly stand out.
Taught by Caleb Claxton Hale, a former journalist, current magazine editor and portrait photographer, whose work has been featured in several international fashion and beauty publications, this class will teach you how curiosity, exploration, and an open mind are the keys to creating your own body of personal, impactful photographic work of people.
Please note the class fees for this event will go entirely to fund the operations and programming of the Anna Arts Center, a not-for-profit community arts organization.
