Combined Maundy Thursday-Seder Service to celebrate the common origins and values uniting the Jewish and Christian faith traditions Church Health and Temple Israel will host a combined Maundy Thursday-Seder Service to celebrate the common origins and values uniting the Jewish and Christian faith traditions. During this time, we will tell the story of Passover and the Last Supper, offer prayers for ourselves and the Greater Memphis community, and learn about the symbolism of the Seder meal, Holy Week, and what these two traditions share in common. There will also be traditional Jewish foods to sample and learn more about. Attendees are invited to come and go as they please. The joint service will be from 12:00–12:20 PM, with the Seder following immediately after. Traditional Passover foods will be served around 12:45 PM followed by a round table discussion led by Rabbi Jeff Dreifus and Rev. Joshua Narcisse. Please RSVP by April 11th to save your spot and ensure we have enough food for all.
