Salem Extends Availability Of COVID-19 Rapid Tests

SALEM, MA — Salem residents and those who work in the city can pick up additional rapid at-home COVID-19 tests throughout April as supplies last. The city has secured additional tests for distribution with a recent uptick in cases and the closure of the state "Stop the Spread" sites at Salem High School and St. Peter's Church. Residents and those who work in the city can get up to three boxes of tests — six tests total — at the Health Department offices at 98 Washington Street. The third floor office is open Mondays through Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The city also said that the free walk-up Corative mobile site at Riley Plaza will now be open from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
