Join us on this Nature Fun-Day as we celebrate all things Gopher Tortoise! Come to Circle B on April 9th, as we celebrate Gopher Tortoise Day! This Nature Fun-Day will include family friendly activities set up all around the flex-path at Polk’s Nature Discovery Center. Come learn about Gopher tortoises, their role in the ecosystem, the plants they like, and more! Activities will include Gopher Tortoise themed crafts, exploring a Gopher Tortoise Burrow, informational booths about Gopher Tortoises and their benefits, and meet a real Gopher Tortoise! The event will start at 9:30am and run till noon (12:00pm). No ticket necessary.
