Travelodge in Mill Valley is looking to hire a Professional Hotel Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance position at this great location is rarely available. The right candidate must have the following skills:
1. Responsible for keeping the hotel clean and maintained while fixing things, as needed. This would include; putting in new wood flooring in guest rooms, repairing holes in walls, changing settings on cooling and heating equipment, putting new light bulbs in the hotel's outdoor lamps and performing general cleaning tasks inside and outside the hotel's building, etc.
2. Repainting walls, fixing/painting broken furniture, fixing minor electrical issues, among other projects. You can expect physically demanding work that includes using tools and equipment and moving around much of the day, including having to climb ladders, lift heavy items, crawling in tight spaces, among other stuff.
