Press release from the Suffolk County Legislator's Office: April 4, 2022 In recognition of March being Women's History Month, each year I have the honor of selecting a Woman of Distinction for the 7th Legislative District. This year I am proud to recognize Michele Cayea for her work in Patchogue-Medford. My colleagues and I on the Legislature attended a luncheon where all 18 Women of Distinction honorees were recognized for their work. Michele is recognized for her leadership and involvement at the Patchogue-Medford Library, Patchogue-Medford School District, Chamber of Commerce, Patchogue Young Professionals, Cemetery Committee, Apex Primary, and the Patchogue Plunge for the Gabby Petito Foundation.
