Fighting hunger one bowl at a time! Enjoy this “souper” satisfying event benefitting Community Cooperative. Admission is FREE for kids and $10 for adults 18 years and older and includes soup tastings and a handcrafted ceramic bowl made by local school children while supplies last. Sanibel Pottery will be collaborating with this year’s event to raise hunger awareness through art. One-of-a kind handcrafted ceramic bowls made by Lee County school children and artisans will be available for purchase at the event as a reminder of those who go hungry right here in Lee County. This year’s event will feature: A soup cook-off and soup sampling from local favorite restaurants Food trucks Family friendly activities Dance and music performances by local organizationsLive musicEmpty Bowls supports Community Cooperative’s emergency food programs that include Sam’s Community Café & Kitchen, the Community Market and Mobile Food Pantries. Tickets are also available for purchase at the event.
