TOWSON, MD — A potential fire at Towson Place drew firefighters to the shopping center Tuesday afternoon, officials say. After 1:45 p.m., the Providence Volunteer Fire Company reported its truck was looking into a possible fire in the air handling unit at 1238 Putty Hill Avenue. That is the address for Marshalls and all other stores at the shopping center. Crews said they were using the ladder to access the roof to evaluate the situation.
