Press release from the Montgomery County Department of Police: April 3, 2022 Gaithersburg, MD - Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public's assistance in locating a woman who went missing from Silver Spring. Magdah Hafez, age 39, was last seen on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at approximately 3 p.m., in the 300 block of Wayne Avenue. Hafez is approximately 5-feet, 10-inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. She has brown eyes and short black hair. She was last seen wearing a green sun hat, a green padded jacket, a gray sweater with flowers, camouflage green joggers and grey sneakers. Police and family are concerned for her welfare. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Magdah Hafez is asked to call the 3rd District Investigative Section at (240) 773- 6870 or the police non-emergency number at (301) 279- 8000 (24-hour line).
