Visit historic Christ Church on April 16th to celebrate The International Day of Monuments and Sites. Philadelphia celebrates The International Day of Monuments and Sites on Monday, April 18th, but Christ Church will observe this celebration on April 16th from 2pm-5pm. Christ Church is closed to the public on Mondays. The Burial Ground at 5th and Arch St. is open 7 days a week from 11am-5pm. Donate what you wish for a guided tour on this day and try your hand at our History Hunt! Answer all questions correctly and win a prize! The International Day of Monuments and Sites is celebrated internationally on April 18th to recognize the cultural significance of important landmarks and sites of observance.
