TOMS RIVER, NJ — For the Trump supporter who has everything — from a flag to a shirt to bumper stickers and, of course, a red hat — there's a new store in Toms River that's ready to not only expand their collection. The Let's Go Brandon store on Route 37 in Toms River caters to one thing and one thing only: support for former President Donald J. Trump. The store, owned by Vinny Scuzzese and Greg Dooner of Toms River, held a soft opening in March and is planning a grand opening sometime this month, Jersey Shore Online reported. The store also has a website that is still under construction. While a political store supporting Trump might not do so well many places, Ocean County has been a deep well of support for the former president. Trump received 63.5 percent of the ballots cast in Ocean County in 2020 and flags and other paraphernalia demonstrating support can be seen routinely around the county. The store's name, of course, comes from the pejorative phrase used in reference to President Joe Biden, which started when a television reporter interviewing NASCAR driver Brandon Brown tried to explain away the crowd's profane "f--- Joe Biden" chants as "Let's Go Brandon" to support Brown. TikTok user Gabriella Rich posted a video on TikTok and the social media site Gettr showing the interior of the store and its wares, from Trump flags to buttons and stickers, life-size cutouts to dolls. There are T-shirts proclaiming firearm ownership rights, support for a Trump-Ron DeSantis ticket in 2024, and more. The store, first featured by Ocean County Scanner News and later on Fox News, is at 1405 Route 37, in the former Liberty Tax site between Della Cucina and Pilates by the Bay. If you're searching for it as you drive out Route 37 past Washington Street, just look for the "Trump Make America Great Again" van in the parking lot. You can't miss it.
