Central Washington Recovery of Three Federally Listed Plants Date: Wednesday, May 18, 2022 Time: 7-9 pm Find out how to register here: Along with mountains, rivers, sagebrush, and plentiful wildlife, Central Washington hosts three plants (Eriogonum codium, Sidalcea oregana var. calva, and Hackelia venusta) listed under the Endangered Species Act. These endemic plants occur only in Central Washington and some occupy fewer than a couple hundred acres. The Washington State Recovery Coordinator for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will present on the status of those species. Her talk will explore some of the threats facing each species and how the Service and its partners have begun to address them. She will also cover some new and exciting research that may help guide future recovery.
