Here are the top three stories in New Orleans today: A New Orleans 18-year-old has been arrested in connection with two major homicide investigations. Tyrone Steele has been connected to a deadly triple shooting on Encampment Street and the death of Shane Brown who was found in a NOLA East Canal. (WDSU New Orleans) Another NOLA teen was arrested this weekend after two, one attempted and one successful Sunday carjackings. No injuries were reported from either incident and the suspect is currently in custody. (WWLTV.com) A St. John police deputy shot and injured man while responding to a call that a vehicle had run off the highway and into a swamp near LaPlace. The shot struck one of the two occupants of the car and the victim was transported to the hospital for treatment. The State Police have been called to investigate the incident, and haven't provided any updates other than that two guns were recovered from the scene.
