Press release from the Jefferson Parish Government: April 1, 2022 JEFFERSON, LA – Starting Monday, April 4, 2022, one eastbound lane of West Metairie Ave. between Waldo St. and Grove Ave. will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Motorists will merge to the available lane. The closure is necessary to repair a leaking drain line joint at a cost of $15,000. Work is scheduled to be completed by Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 2 p.m., weather permitting.
