A distribution center located in WEST SACRAMENTO has an immediate openings for a WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE. We load and unload different merchandise using dollies/hand trucks and pallet jack. Help the inventory using the gun scanner. If you are looking for long term employment with a reputable company, please apply! Description Plan and oversee warehouse and shipping operations based on input from Warehouse Manager. Loading/Unloading heavy boxes with a dolly or hand truck. Major Responsibilities • Proactively stay in constant communication with Warehouse Manager in order to coordinate shipping and warehousing activities • Maintain the overall general upkeep and housekeeping of the warehouse and surrounding area • Help in creating loading schedules. Keep track of inventory using inventory management software Do cycle counts Submit loads for pickup. We deliver furniture. W. After loading, you will be keeping track of inventory, shipping and receiving. Skills/Characteristics Desired • Must be able to make quick decisions based on understanding of operational needs in a fast paced environment • Ability to prioritize with excellent time management skills • Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills • Ability to react positively to rapidly changing priorities • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse groups of people • Demonstrated initiative and an eagerness to drive continuous improvement Qualifications: Employee must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds Must have a reliable transportation.
