WATSONVILLE, CA — An 18-year-old man shot in Watsonville over the weekend has died, police said Monday. "We are saddened to report that the 18-year-old who was shot multiple times Saturday night has died. The investigation is still in its early stages. No other details are available at this time," police said. Authorities were dispatched to the 100 block of Riverside Drive on Saturday where reports of a shooting were received around 8:45 p.m. At that time, the victim sustained apparent gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital with "life-threatening injuries," police said.
