Looking for volunteers that are interested in getting their teeth cleaned for free, MUST CONTACT ME FOR WAIVER. If not there will be a charge of $35 for the clinical service.
Appointment will consist of medical history, dental history, x-rays, perio charting, calculus detection, cleaning, polish, floss, and home care instructions.
Volunteers can be of any age 6 and up. For ages 6-11 guardian must be present during the appointment (this age group only take 1 appointment to complete). For 12-17 years old guardians must be present, and may take 1-2 appointments. Please be patient as this is a learning institute and all assessments including dental cleaning is being graded by instructors in the clinic, and the amount of buildup will also affect how many appointments you will need (2-3).
If you have any metal plates or screws in your body, or any medications that are bisphosphonates we will need to do a medical clearance by your doctor and this may take weeks to get cleared. If you do not have any of those you can be scheduled and seen as soon as possible.
