Sewer Project To Cause Temporary Closures On Orchard Road

WHEATON, IL — Temporary road closures will be in effect on Orchard Road during the week of April 4 as crews work to replace storm sewers. Crews will excavate parts of the street and parkway on Orchard between Butterfield Road and Colonial Square, causing intermittent closures between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Flaggers will be on hand to help direct the flow of traffic. Motorists are advised to consider taking an alternate route during this time to accommodate the road construction.
