SANTA CRUZ, CA - The Central Fire District of Santa Cruz County is looking for its next hires. The district is hiring for a Firefighter Paramedic, Defensible Space Inspector and a Defensible Space Inspector Trainee. Covering 55 square miles, the district serves Aptos, Capitola, La Selva, Live Oak, Rio Del Mar and Soquel communities. Minimum requirements for the firefighter position include a high school diploma or GED, possession of a valid California driver's license and current certifications.
