Description
OAK LAWN, IL — Park Lawn is building its Tag Days Bucket Brigade to collect donations and build awareness in the local community about the work of the organization over the next two weekends, April 8 and April 9, and continuing Easter weekend, April 15 and April 16.
Volunteers can sign up to work a two-hour slot at street intersections and storefronts in Chicago's south suburbs to collection donations for Park Lawn. High school students can earn community service hours by volunteering to work a shift.
Tag Days builds awareness in the local community about the work of Park Lawn, which provides programs and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Safety vests, collection buckets and handouts with Park Lawn's logo will be provided. Sign up on Park Lawn Tag Days and tell your friends.
Volunteers are needed at collection locations in Oak Lawn, Evergreen Park, Palos Heights, Alsip, Crestwood, Midlothian, Worth, Homer Glen and Chicago's Mount Greenwood neighborhood.
