Carmel High School Quad, 5:30 - 9:00 p.m. Open to all 8th - 12th grade students from PUSD Representatives from colleges, universities, trades and military. No registration required. SEE MORE DETAILS HERE ABOUT THE COLLEGE & CAREER FAIR Learning Support Services is excited to share with our community that we are currently going through a pilot process for adopting a new History Social Studies (HSS) curriculum for our middle and high schools [Extended to April 29th]. All PUSD middle schools are currently piloting three State Board approved publishers, McGraw Hill, National Geographic, and TCI new at 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. All PUSD high schools are currently piloting two State Board approved publishers, McGraw Hill and National Geographic, for US History 1 and US History 2. Each pilot team is composed of a variety of stakeholders from various backgrounds, ethnicities, school sites and experiences, and includes HSS teachers, administrators, and community members. Poway Unified School District welcomes you to review the materials and complete the feedback forms listed below if you would like to participate in the pilot process. The feedback will be reviewed and considered as we move through the adoption process.
