Run For Education Returns to Pleasanton

PLEASANTON, CA — The Pleasanton Run for Education is back on site this year after a pandemic hiatus. The family-friendly event is April 24 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. Races include a 5K, 10K and 15K run/walk. The Kids Challenge also spans a 1/2 mile course inside the fairgrounds. Pleasanton Partnerships in Education Foundation hosts the annual event and describes it as a 'carnival-style atmosphere.' 2022 marks the 10th anniversary. Money raised at the event goes to support 15 Pleasanton schools, 14,500 students and more than 9,000 families, PPIE said. Registration is still open.
