MORRISTOWN – A plane ran off a runway at Morristown Airport on Saturday, closing the facility down for several hours.
A King Air aircraft went off the end of the runway and ended up in the grassy safety area, officials said.
The Morristown Police Department reports that there are no injuries to passenger or crew, but the airport remained closed at 3:15 p.m. Most of it was reopened soon after.
Airport back OPEN but RWY 5-23 remains closed. Aircraft arriving and departing RWY 13-31.
